Luxor pens deal as official writing partner for Commonwealth Games

Luxor has bagged the licensing deal as the official writing partner for the 19th edition of Commonwealth Games (CWG) scheduled to take place in the Delhi during October.
The company has crafted special instruments for athletes, officials and volunteers. It will also release premium items like fountain pens to be given away as corporate gifts.
Luxor plans to spend around Rs 10 crore for consumer activation. It will set up stalls in the CWG stadiums and support the infrastructure of the games.
The writing instrument maker expects its sales to jump by up to 15 per cent during the CWG 2010. It is also expanding its footprint globally by focusing on Africa.
Incorporated in 1991, Luxor, deals in products ranging from designer pens, fountain pens, ball pens, colour pencils, markers, notebooks and gift sets.
