PMAA Awards announced

The Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia (PMAA) 2009 have been announced and this year, India has bagged a total 23 metals, including seven golds, eight silvers and seven bronzes, and one country dragon, which was bagged by Jagran Solutions.

PMAA, which completes a decade in 2009 marking its excellence in Asia, recognises the very best in promotion marketing and mastery throughout Asia every year.

Under the Best Sponsorship or Tie-In Campaign, Jagran Solutions scored a silver for client PepsiCo India Ltd, for the campaign titled 'Gatorade Pacers 2008'. Jagran Solutions also bagged the Best in Country Dragon for its work on 'Microsoft-Go A-Live Challenge' campaign.

In the Best Use of Direct Marketing in a Promotion Campaign, Solutions | Digitas won a Gold for its client Thomson Press India Ltd for the campaign titled 'Champi Wala'. Tequila India scored a Silver for Gold Plus from Tata for the campaign titled 'The Big Bangle Promotion'. Jagran Solutions bagged a Bronze for its work for 'Disney Ratatouille Mailer'.

In the Best Innovative Idea or Concept category, Encompass Events Pvt Ltd scored a Silver for Colgate MaxFresh - Foonkball campaign. In the category of Best Digital Communications Campaign, Hungama Digital Media Entertainment bagged a Gold for Ghajini - findghajini.com campaign. For Best Brand Building Campaign, Dentsu Communications bagged a Bronze for its work on Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd.

In the category of Best B2B Campaign, the Gold, Silver and Bronze went to ICICI Bank Ltd, Jagran Solutions and Solutions | Digitas, respectively.
