Unilever in UK will roll out its corporate logo in its advertising from 2 March.

The first brand to feature the logo will be margarine brand Flora. All new television ads, outdoor and print ads will feature the logo.

In the case of television ads, the Unilever's 'U' will be shown in the top right hand corner at the end of the spot.

The brands that will do the same soon are PG Tips, Magnum, Sure and Dove.

A spokesman for Unilever said it was taking the step because research shows that consumers who already buy one of its products will buy others if they know it has come from the same company.
