Nissan Motor India launches special edition of Sunny

Nissan Motor India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan's Nissan Motor, has launched a special edition of Sunny to further boost the mid-sized sedan's appeal to customers in India.
The new variant is being launched with enhanced interior and exteriors, the company said in a statement.
''Sunny has been a success in India right from the time of its launch in September 2011 and the car continues to be a popular choice amongst customers in the mid-sized sedan segment,'' said Nitish Tipnis, director (sales and marketing) of Nissan's national sales company in India - Hover Automotive India.
The special edition is being launched in both petrol and diesel variants. It has special body side mouldings and chrome-plated trunk detailing, apart from rear-view parking camera and other features.
The petrol version of the variant – the Sunny Petrol (XV) – is priced at Rs860,054 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the diesel – Sunny Diesel (XV) - is priced at Rs968,931.
The special edition is on sale across Nissan dealerships from February 2013, it added.
