Bengaluru: QuEST Global, a provider of outsourced engineering services and manufacturing, will tie up with aerospace major Textron Systems for the development of its Aero SEZ at Belgaum, Karnataka. QuEST Global SEZ is spread over 300 acres at Belgaum, and is focussed on developing the aerospace supply chain. According to the company, the SEZ will provide world class infrastructure, concentrating mainly on aerospace and automotive related industries. This is the first ever modified precision engineering SEZ in Karnataka. ''With the growing demand for state-of-the-art defence services and solutions, India is a key country in a region that is important to our international growth,'' stated Frank Tempesta, President and CEO of Textron Systems. He was speaking at the Aero India 2009 Air Show, which is being held here at the Air Force Station, Yelahanka, from 11 to 15 February. QuEST Global is showcasing its services in both civil and defense aerospace, in the areas of design and development of systems and subsystems in structures, engines, accessories and ground support equipment.
