AeroIndia 2009: API sets up shop at QuEST's Belgaum Aero SEZ news

Bengaluru: Aerospace Processing India (API) today announced the opening of its processing facility at the QuEST Global Precision Engineering SEZ at Belgaum, in Karnataka. API will provide metal finishing treatment services for both the Indian and export markets. This fully integrated, scalable facility has been operational since Jan 2009.

The facility will initially focus on processes for aluminium, titanium and stainless steel components for aero-structures and aero-engine components. It has fully automated anodising and etching lines, semi-automatic titanium etching line, primer and painting line, an advanced fluorescent and magnetic particle inspection (FPI & MPI) lines, and other state-of-the-art processes. It is a zero-effluent facility.
