Kajaria FY Q1 PAT up 26 per cent

Hyderabad: Kajaria Ceramics (KCL), India's leading ceramic tile manufacturer in India, has reported 26 per cent higher profit after tax to Rs5.05 crore against Rs4. 02 crore reported in the corresponding period last year.

Income from operations increased by 8 per cent to Rs61.58 crore as against Rs56.80 crore in the corresponding period the previous year. PBIDT was up by 8 per cent to Rs14.22 crore as compared to Rs13.11 crore in Q1 of FY 2005

For FY 2005, income from operations increased by 12 per cent to Rs300.39 crore. PBIDT was up by 24 per cent to Rs62.25 crore and PAT was higher by 116 per cent to Rs25.49 crore, resulting in an EPS of Rs17.32.
