3rd gen Nag anti-tank missile to be tested in second half of 2008

New Delhi: Defence minister AK Antony has informed the Rajya Sabha that the third generation anti-tank missile, Nag, is the only project under development as part of Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP) at present.

 While user trials are scheduled for the second half of the year, the project's probable date of completion is December 2008.

This information was given by the defence minister in a written reply to SK Khabir-ud-din Ahmed,a member of the Rajya Sabha.
