Anand Kumar is new chief for biotech body
Bangalore: The Association of Biotechnology-led Enterprises (ABLE) has named Dr S. Anand Kumar as its Honorary Director and Radhika Choudary as its new Executive Director.

Dr Anand Kumar, Director of AstraZeneca Research Foundation India, has served on premier bodies such as the Committee for Commercialisation of Biotechnology, UNIDO, Vienna, the Medical Biotechnology Task Force, Government of India, and is now a member of the Patent Screening Committee of the DBT. Choudary has been a consultant to the Karnataka Department of IT and Biotechnology.

Tognatta moves to Samsung
New Delhi: Samsung India Electronics Ltd today announced the appointment of Pradeep Tognatta as Senior Vice-President for its home appliances division.

Prior to this, Tognatta was managing the Indian operations of Singer India. He has also previously worked with various consumer durable companies including LG, Videocon and Philips India.

Manish Sinha is new MD for Microsoft India
New Delhi: Microsoft Corp (India) has announced the appointment of Manish Sinha as Managing Director for its Global Support Centre (GSC) in Bangalore. As Managing Director, Manish would be responsible for providing overall strategic direction and leading the GSC team to deliver a more consistent model for operations and a predictable end-customer experience, a Microsoft release said here.

Ananthraman is new Jt.MD for Max India
New Delhi: Max India Ltd has elevated B. Anantharaman to the post of Joint Managing Director of the company. He had been the head of Max India's Group Finance and was the Whole-time Director of the company.
