Mishra will look after anti evasion at CBEC
New Delhi: The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), has given the additional responsibility of Service Tax to B.K. Mishra. Mishra had recently been appointed as Member-Legal and Judicial.B.K. Mishra, who was Director-General (Audit), Delhi, and Member responsible for Service Tax, would now look after matters relating to anti-evasion, official sources said.

AirTel's Mumbai circle gets new CEO
Mumbai: The Bharti Group has announced the appointment of Jayant Khosla as Chief Executive Officer for its Mumbai AirTel mobile circle.A news release from AirTel said Khosla will be reporting to Manoj Kohli, President, Mobility, Bharti Tele-Ventures.

Mundkur resigns from Everest
Mumbai: Prabhakar Mundkur has resigned from Everest Advertising, after heading it for the past one year, in order to look for new opportunities. Mundkur has worked with agencies such as JWT and Euro RSCG in the past. Mundkur is a trained pianist and has also been a recording artist, having been part of the music group belonging to the Indian pop star Remo Fernandes.

Everest appoints Mahesh Chauhan as President
Mumbai: Everest has announced the appointment of Mahesh Chauhan as President of the agency. His appointment takes effect from April 12. Chauhan joins from Rediffusion DYR where he was heading the Bangalore operations. He joined the Rediffusion DYR group from Ogilvy 18 months ago.
