New RBI Executive Director
Mumbai: P.V. Subba Rao has taken over as the Executive Director of Reserve Bank of India.Rao will look after the Industrial Credit Department, Inspection Department and Secretary's Department, said an RBI press release. Prior to his appointment, Mr Rao was head of Department of Banking Supervision.

Monica Tata to head advertising sales at Turner India
Mumbai: Monica Tata has been appointed as the head of Advertising Sales at Turner India. As the head, Monica will be responsible for advertising sales management at a national level for Cartoon Network, Cartoon Network on Zee, CNN South Asia, CNN International, POGO as well as Zee Network's Zee MGM, Zee English and Trendz.

Bhasin is new Rabo India chief
Mumbai: Sanjiv Bhasin has been appointed as the CEO and MD of the Rabo India Finance. He is expected to join the Dutch NBFC shortly. According to Rabo India Finance, Bhasin has been with the HSBC for over 24 years in the various departments of corporate finance, investment banking, risk management and financial control, as stated in a press release.

SHCIL Managing Director quits
Mumbai: The Managing Director of Stock Holding Corporation of India K.C. Bandopadhyay has resigned. He will continue to hold charge until April 30. He had taken charge of SHCIL, a depository, custodial services and securities lending company floated by State-owned financial institutions and insurers, in September 2002.
