Grasim Suitings: S. Krishnamoorthy is new COO
New Delhi: Grasim Industries, a Aditya Birla Group company, has announced the appointment of S. Krishnamoorthy as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of its textile and apparel business. Mr Krishnamoorthy joined Grasim in August 1999 as Executive President- Fabrics & Apparels.

N. Srinivasan to succeed Tarun Das in CII
New Delhi: Mr N. Srinivasan, who has been with CII since 1974, will take charge as Director-General from June 1. He will replace Mr Tarun Das, who has been associated with the organization for 40 years.

However, Mr Das will continue his four-decade-long association with the CII for at least another three years as "Chief Mentor' of the apex industry association. Besides, he will co-ordinate the newly established Global Advisory Council that includes prominent Indian leaders and leaders from overseas organizations with whom CII has built strong connections.

New Delhi: Bharti Tele-Ventures Ltd has announced the induction of Mr Kurt Hellstrom, former President and world CEO of Ericsson into its board of directors.
