A Rajan will HDFC Bank head operations
Mumbai: A Rajan, CEO of Flexcell, a joint-venture between i-flex Solutions and HDFC Bank, will join as the head of operations in HDFC Bank. H Srikrishnan, currently the head of operations and transactional Banking, will quit and join the new private sector bank, YES Bank.

Rajan who had worked with HDFC Bank heading operations till 1999, was previously with Bank of America. He is expected to join soon, sources were quoted as saying. While Rajan will look at operations, the other responsibilities of Srikrishnan will be divided between Samir Bhatia, country head (corporate banking), who will look after SME lending and cash management services, and Harish Engineer, country head (wholesale banking), who will manage the capital markets business.

Arun Pande quits Ashok Leyland
Chennai: Arun Pande, executive director (marketing), Ashok Leyland, has quit the company. Official sources were quoted as sayinf that this happened last week due to 'family reason'.

Pande joined Ashok Leyland only in April, in the place vacated by Amol Sandil, who left the company in January. As the ED in charge of marketing, Pande was responsible for both domestic and overseas operations.

Two new directors at Kirloskar Electric subsidiary
Bangalore: Kaytee Switchgear, a subsidiary of Kirloskar Electric Co Ltd, has inducted V S Raju and Sarosh J Ghandy as two new directors on the board of the company. Raju is a well-known personality in the field of technical education. He was a Director of IIT, Delhi, and also a professor and dean at IIT, Chennai. At present, Raju is a part-time member of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
