Porsche India appoints Rod Wallace as its new MD

New Delhi:  Porsche Cars India Pvt Ltd, has appointed Rod Wallace as its new managing director. In his new position, Wallace will be responsible for overseeing the company's initiatives and operations in the growing Indian automobile market.

Wallace has 30 years experience in the auto industry and has worked in the premium car sector for a considerable period. He has been associated with Porsche for more than 12 years now, having worked across global markets in the UK, Middle East and South Africa. 

Wallace began his career at Porsche and has held every management and supervisory position within retail motor dealerships, hence is aware of the needs of his dealers in a Porsche business.

Prior to his appointment in India, he was assigned with Porsche South Africa for three and a half years, where he played a major role in increasing the sales and revenue of the company through his knowledge, expertise, prowess and excellent management skills.
