Ashok
Capoor, 54, has also been promoted and will move to Bangalore as deputy president
of United Spirits Limited. Capoor has been with the UB Group for 15 years and
has successfully led the western regional profit centre in his current assignment.
In his new role as deputy president, he will be in-charge of all five regional
profit centres as well as the CSD business of the UB Group.
Shekhar
Ramamurthy, 46, who has been with the UB Group for 18 years, has been promoted
to the position of deputy president of United Breweries Limited and in his new
role, will look after operations in addition to overseeing sales and marketing.
A Harish Bhat,
54, who has been with the UB Group for 17 years, has been promoted to the position
of deputy president and group treasurer. He played a key role in and successfully
managed the recent large acquisitions and investments of the UB Group.

A Murali, 49, who has been with the UB Group for 14 years, has been promoted to
the position of deputy president, finance and administration of United Spirits
Limited. He has successfully managed the merger of various group companies into
United Spirits and he has admirably executed the recent acquisitions of Whyte
& Mackay and Liquidity Inc.

R Rajsekher, 51, currently chief operating officer of the Andhra Pradesh regional
profit centre and who moved from Shaw Wallace now moves to Mumbai as chief operating
officer of the western regional profit centre of United Spirits Limited consequent
to the transfer of Ashok Capoor to Bangalore.

S Gill, 45, currently with United National Breweries, South Africa, has been with
the UB Group for 15 years. He now moves to New Delhi as chief operations officer
of the northern regional profit centre, United Spirits Limited to succeed Ashwin
Malik who is relocating to Glasgow as Chief Executive of Whyte & Mackay

Laxmi Narasimhan, 37, currently divisional vice president and head of sales operations
in the Southern Region has been promoted as acting chief operating officer of
the Andhra Pradesh regional profit centre in Hyderabad of United Spirits Limited
reporting to N R Rajsekher who will be relocating to Mumbai.
