Anup Jain appointed marketing head of Pizza Hut
New Delhi: Anup Jain has been appointed as the marketing director at Yum! Restaurants which owns fast food restaurant chain Pizza Hut in India, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Bangladesh. He was earlier in the marketing division of white goods major Whirlpool India.

Yum! Restaurants International represents the overseas business (excluding China) of US-based Yum! Brands — the world's largest restaurant company in terms of number of outlets which operates fast food retail chains Pizza Hut and KFC.

At Yum! Restaurants International Jain would be reporting to the chief marketing officer for the Indian subcontinent, Arvind Mediratta who heads both KFC and Pizza Hut business. Incidentally, Mediratta in his previous role was heading the marketing division for Whirlpool just two years back.

The $9.5 billion Yum! Brands runs, KFC which retails fried chicken products and Pizza Hut which is in the business of pizzas in the Indian subcontinent.

Globally Yum! Brands also runs Mexican fast food chain Taco Bell, seafood chain Long John Silver's and A&W All American Food.
