Rajeev Batra shifts from Bharti to Anil D. Ambani group
Mumbai: The Anil D. Ambani Enterprises group has appointed Rajeev Batra as Vice-President, IT and Technology.

Batra, who comes from Bharti Tele-Ventures, will be a key technology resource for the ADA group, said a news release from the latter.

At Bharti Televentures, Batra was Chief Architect (Corporate IT & Technology), for its India operations. His responsibilities included providing direction for strategic and tactical adaptability of IT and Technology to the businesses. He played a pivotal role in the creation of the strategic outsourcing arrangement between Bharti and IBM, said the release.

Batra has earlier worked in India and in the US with Perot Systems, Escotel and DHL Worldwide (Airfreight). He has handled responsibilities in areas of IT strategy, outsourcing, technical services, customer support and global business development.

ICICI OneSource appoints R.Venkatraman as new COO
Mumbai: ICICI OneSource has announced the appointment of Raju Venkatraman as President & Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Venkatraman joined the senior management of ICICI OneSource after the company acquired RevIT Systems. He takes over from Raju Bhatnagar who had managed the company's operations for the past eighteen months, it said.

Raju Venkatraman has over two decades of experience in the technology outsourcing field.
