Markets: FIIs net sellers for week ended April 1
Mumbai:
While Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) recorded net sales of Rs557.5 crore in equities for the trading week ended April 1, mutual funds (MFs) were net purchasers at Rs277.07 crore.

According to data available with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) here the foreign funds were net sellers at Rs196.8 crore (USD 45.2 million) in the debt market for the period under review, while mutual funds were net purchasers in the debt market at Rs175.31 crore.

The Stock Exchange, Mumbai, (BSE) during the week under review, saw the sensex gaining 162.17 points to close at 6605.04 points.
