Rs. 94 crore SAIL order for BHEL Tiruchi
Madurai: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) at Tiruchi has bagged an order for a compressor and drive motor package from the Steel Authority of India (SAIL), Rourkela. The order, worth Rs 94 crore, has been placed for the tonnage oxygen facility at SAIL's Rourkela plant. The work involves design, manufacture, testing and supply of a nitrogen compressor, drive motor and associated auxiliaries.

Rolta India in joint venture with Shaw Group affiliate
Mumbai: Rolta India has set up an equal joint venture company - Stone & Webster Rolta Ltd - with an engineering-construction affiliate of the Shaw Group Inc. The joint venture will provide engineering and design services and take up selective turnkey projects in India.

The joint venture has already started operations at a dedicated centre in the Rolta Technology Park with 43 professionals in Mumbai, said a statement. The projects will be in the area of turnkey, process, refinery, petrochemical and power projects in India. Rolta India is in IT solutions and services in engineering design, geo-engineering/GIS and eSolutions.

AirTel in Andhra Pradesh rated as best provider
Hyderabad: Airtel Andhra Pradesh, part of the Bharti Group, has been ranked best cellular provider for quality of network and service, according to the recently announced TRAI survey. AirTel Andhra Pradesh scored over other operators on several parameters that measure customer satisfaction with cellular operator's service in India. The operator was rated best on both objective and subjective quality of service assessment for cellular services and has been cited as a preferred choice among customers.

AirTel will soon be installing more cell sites to further boost the AirTel network in Andhra Pradesh in the existing areas of operation. Riding on the 462-strong cell site networks, AirTel is a congestion free network with voice clarity and superior call maturity. Installation of these sites is the first in a series of many initiatives planned to further bolster the network.

HPs new copier comes with a phone
New Delhi: Hewlett Packard has launched a new product that features a phone. Apart from a telephone, the 'five-in-one' HP OJ 4255 is armed with a printer, fax, scanner and copier, a company release said here on Tuesday. The company claims it is the first entry-level all-in-one device that offers the telephone functionality. The product is priced at Rs 9,999.

Ogilvy launches Activation
Chennai: Ogilvy & Mather has announced the launch of its Complete Out of Home (COH) business unit, Ogilvy Activation, which has been formed by merging its out-of-home businesses. According to a press release, Pratap Bose has been named President of the new unit with J. C. Giri as Country Head.

The divisions include Ogilvy Landscapes, for outdoor media specialisation; Ogilvy Outreach, the rural communication specialist division; Ogilvy Live, the ground-level brand communication division, and more recently Ogilvy Signscapes, the retail brand identity division. The decision to bring these divisions together was prompted by the need for synergy in delivering complete 360 OOH communication solutions to clients. Ogilvy Activation has billings of over Rs 225 crore and a team strength of 140 people, the press release said.

Marico launches Saffola Gold
New Delhi: Marico Industries has announced the launch of Saffola Gold, a blend of Ricebran and Kardi oils in a 70:30 ratio, claiming the formulation has dual benefits of lowering cholesterol and enabling food cooked in it to absorb lesser oil. Apart from reducing bad cholesterol, Saffola Gold possesses other health benefits, the company said in a statement adding it is fortified with vitamin E to boost immunity and contains Lobsorb, which ensures that food cooked in this oil absorbs less oil.
