Amit Bose appointed Tata Tele president-telecom
Mumbai: Tata Teleservices has appointed Amit Bose as its president, telecom. He will look after the marketing, sales and other initiatives of Tata Teleservices.

According to the company Mr Bose will work closely with other group telecom companies in their rollout of products and services under the Tata Indicom banner.
Mr Bose was previously with Reliance Infocomm and was said to have quit due to differences of opinion with a section of the top brass at Reliance Infocomm, according to sources.

An FMCG specialist, Mr Bose left Hindustan Levers to join Reliance.

Mr Bose has also worked at Pepsi and Mattel. Mr Bose is said to have been initially responsible for setting up the franchisee business of Reliance Info which was dumped in favour of the Dhirubhai Ambani entrepreneur scheme.

Mallikarjundasappointed director Starcom Media
Mumbai:
Starcom Worldwide owned by the Publicis Groupe has appointed Mr C.R. Mallikarjundas as media director for its Mumbai office. He will head one of Starcom's seven key business units and look after the media portfolio of clients such as Heinz, the Sony Columbia Tristar AOR, the SPE Films AOR and Parle Bisleri.

This will be Mr Mallikarjundas second stint at Starcom as during his earlier tenure he worked on Procter & Gamble's Ariel brand, and was part of the original Starcom team that won the P&G AOR.
