Sony move to buy out Discovery in JV fails

Suzuki to renominate Jagdish Khattar as MD
New Delhi:
After taking control of Maruti Udyog, Suzuki Motor Company has taken its first management decision to renominate Jagdish Khattar as the managing director of the company.

Under the terms of the new joint venture agreement, Suzuki had got the right to nominate a new managing director as Khattar was a government nominee under the earlier agreement. Suzuki has decided to retain Khattar as the MD, who is credited with the turnaround of the company in the last year. Suzuki has informed the government of its decision.
