Birendra Kumar joins PwC as advisor
New Delhi: Birendra Kumar, who retired as the deputy managing director and chief credit officer of the State Bank of India, is joining professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers as advisor, corporate finance and recoveries.

Though he is joining as an advisor, it will be a full-time engagement for Birendra Kumar. He will be based in Mumbai and will report to Ashwani Puri, who heads the corporate finance and recovery services practice of PwC in India.

In his last assignment with SBI, Kumar was responsible for the bank's credit policy and procedures, risk management and the health of the overall credit portfolio.

Khera named Jt MD in Kinetic Engg
New Delhi: Kinetic Engineering has appointed Manmohan Khera as the joint managing director. He succeeds Arun Pande who will now be heading a new hived off entity looking after international business.

Sulajja Firodia Motwani will continue as the Jt MD of KEL.

Khera has been functioning as the executive director of the company for the past five years and his current operational areas include plant management and purchase.
