Bhaskar Banerjee quits Duncans
Kolkata:  Duncans Industries senior managing director Bhaskar Banerjee has resigned.

Banerjee joined the then Duncans Agro Industries Ltd in April 1984 as vice-president for finance, moved up as director in 1986 and managing director in 1994. Later, he was designated senior managing director, when Duncans appointed a managing director for the fertiliser division.

Banerjee was a partner of Price Waterhouse Peat & Co in India and was associated with Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry.

Oriflame appoints new director
New Delhi: Oriflame India Ltd has appointed Lubos Dojcan as director, sales and marketing.

Prior to his appointment, he was working as the managing director, Oriflame Slovakia.

Sudhakar to join GTB as MD
Hyderabad: Former managing director of American Express Bank, G Sudhakar is taking over as the managing director of Global Tust Bank.

Ramesh Gelli, former CMD of GTB, had stepped down on 11 April last year in the midst of a controversy over his alleged links with stock broker Ketan Parekh.

Following the exit of Gelli, who still holds around 26 per cent equity stake in GTB, R S Hugar was appointed to head the bank. Hugar too stepped down on 30 November last year.
