Sanjeev Keskar is AMD
country manager in India
Mumbai: Advanced Micro Devices has appointed Sanjeev Keskar as country
manager, India.
He is currently in the US on an orientation programme. The appointment is expected to be
officially announced next week.
Keskar was earlier heading the country operations of another chipmaker, National
Semiconductor, and was part of the start-up team to launch cyrix chips in India. He has
about 15 years of experience in the computing and semiconductor industry.

Singhvi bids farewell to Sebi
Mumbai: LK Singhvi senior executive director of the Securities and Exchange of
India on Friday bid term ended at Sebi after six years of service. He was not offered
another extension by his parent cadre the Indian Revenue Service, from where he came on
deputation.
Mr Singhvi said his tenure with Sebi had been an exciting one during which he had been
associated with the evolution of the present online surveillance system (stock watch).
He said that the infrastructure at Sebi was very limited and that is why it had been
asking the stock exchanges to look into several violations.
