Sanjay Mehta to head Essar Shipping
New Delhi: Mr. Sanjay Mehta, previously with American Marine Advisors Inc., in New York, has been appointed chief executive officer of Essar Shipping Ltd effective this month.

Essar Shipping has one of the country's youngest fleet with an average age of 10 years as against the international average of 15 to 17 years, a company release said here.

Jill McGivering takes over as BBC News India chief
New Delhi: Mr. Jill McGivering, has taken over as the new chief of BBC News India. He replaces Mr. Daniel Lak as India Correspondent.

In another change, Mr. Tim Irwin has joined the India bureau, in place of Mr. Paul Danahur, Bureau Producer at BBC News India.
