Four new directors for Dena Bank
Mumbai: Dena Bank has appointed four new directors on its board at an extraordinary general meeting of the bank on 19 January. The four directors are Manu Chadda, Avinash Dalal, S. Ravi and Subhash Chandra Wadhwa. The four are representatives of non-government shareholders of the bank.

Bhandarkar is Gray Cell CEO
Bangalore: Vasudev Bhandarkar is the new chief executive officer of Gray Cell Inc, the California-based parent of Gray Cell Applied Technologies of Bangalore. Mr Bhandarkar has been with Cellmania.com, where he was senior vice-president of business development. He has worked in the Silicon Valley for nearly 20 years.

Two new directors on Murugappa board
Chennai: The Murugappa group has inducted two independent directors on its corporate board. They are Prof. Marti Subramanyan of the New York State University and Natalino Duo, chief executive of Benetton India. The group is also planning to bring in a third independent director, who will be an R&D expert. The board has six executive members now – chairman M.V. Subbiah, M.A.Alagappan, A. Vellayan, M.M. Murugappan, M.M.Venkatachallam and Partho Datta.
