Narayana Murthy to head Prasar Bharati Panel
New Delhi: The government has appointed N.R. Narayana Murthy, chairman of Infosys Technologies, as head of a committee to carry out a "comprehensive review" of Prasar Bharati.

Arun Maira to head BCG India
Mumbai: Arun Maira, managing director of Innovation Associates -- a subsidiary of international consulting house Arthur D. Little -- currently based in Boston, is joining Boston Consulting Group as chairman of BCG India. Mr Maira has been leader of Arthur D Little’s global organisation practice.

Mr Maira, 57, is returning to India after 10 years with Arthur D Little. Before that he was with the Tata group for nearly 25 years. He has been an executive director and member of the board of Tata Engineering and Locomotive Company.

Following his posting Rohit Bhagat, managing director of BCG India will be relocated at San Francisco to handle the firm’s e-commerce business.

Sudhir Sohoni joins Essar group
Mumbai: Sudhir Sohoni has joined the Essar group as its human resources head. Mr Sohoni will be in charge of all HR-related activities of the group and will be responsible for conceptualizing an HR strategy.

Mr Sohoni has been with Hindustan Lever for nearly 14 years.
