Briggs is BAs man in South Asia
Mumbai: Alan Briggs is British Airways' new general manager, South Asia.
He will be based in Gurgaon, near New Delhi, and will be responsible for the
airlines commercial and representative activities in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka,
Nepal, Bhutan and the Maldives.
Mr Briggs was
British Airways general manager, Russia and CIS, earlier.

Delhi, as vice-president, planning. Mr Sinha has handled several departments
creative, account management, general management and account planning -- and has dealt

Bharti Enterprises
New Delhi: Badri Agarwal has joined Bharti Enterprises as corporate
director. He has moved from Eicher Goodearth after his tenure there as managing director
ended. A chartered accountant, Mr Agarwal, started his career with DCM. He also worked
with Union Carbide before joining the Eicher group.

Vinod Nair to head PVCS
India
Mumbai: Vinod Nair has been appointed regional manager of PVCS India,
part of the $400-million Merant group. He will head PVCS Indias operations and
expand its technical support and communications divisions throughout the country. Prior to
taking up this assignment, Mr Nair was with NIIT.

Hayman to head SAP in
Asia-Pacific
Bonn: SAP of Germany has announced that SAP Asia- Pacific will have a new
chief executive officer and president, Les Hayman. He will head the combined operations of
SAPs three sales regions, North East Asia, Greater China and South Asia Pacific. Mr
Hayman was appointed to the extended management board of SAP AG in July 1999.
