Harshad Mehta, 3 others get RI for 5 years
Mumbai: The special court appointed for adjudging the Maruti Udyog misappropriation case, has given five years of rigorous imprisonment to Harshad Mehta, Pramod Kumar Manocha, deputy manager (finance) at Maruti Udyog., Vinayak Narayan Deosthali, assistant manager, Uco Bank, Hamam Street Branch, Mumbai and Narayan Popli, officer, ANZ Grindlays Bank, New Delhi. The four have also been fined amounts ranging from Rs.35,000 to Rs.2,35,000.
