CNBC-TV18 launches ''Masterstrokes''

Mumbai: In line with its distinctive programming strategy, CNBC-TV18, India's only comprehensive business channel, has launched a business show drawing lessons from the competitive world of sports. Masterstrokes, a 10-episode half-hour special, draws learnings from sports for businesses, through in-depth interaction and discussions between India's best sport personalities and business leaders.

Renowned cricket commentator, Harsha Bhogle will anchor Masterstrokes, featuring stalwarts from the sports and business community. They will draw inspiration from each others successes and failures.

Sanjay Manjarekar, Rahul Dravid, Saurav Ganguly, Ravi Shastri will be the guest lineup from the sporting fraternity. The business community will be represented by Bharat Puri, Niall Booker, Adi Godrej, Uday Kotak, YC Deveshwar and Harsh Goenka .

Harsha Bhogle flagged off the show at an elaborate launch party at the Lush Lounge in Mumbai.

The first episode of Masterstrokes will be aired on CNBC-TV18 on Tuesday, August 24, 2004, at 8:30 pm with a repeat telecast of the episode on Sunday at 9:30 pm.
