Sensex down 43 points

After moving into positive territory in early afternoon trading, frontline Indian indexes have slipped again. Most Asian markets closed lower while European indexes are weak in morning trading.

Sensex is trading lower by 43 points at 13728 at 02.45 PM IST.

Nifty is now trading lower by 16 points at 4051

M&M has slipped further and remains the worst performing Nifty stock with losses of close to 4 per cent

Among cement stocks, ACC is down 3.5 per cent and Grasim has lost 2 per cent

HDFC continues to trade 2.5 per cent lower while HDFC Bank has lost 2 per cent
