Mumbai:
Franklin Templeton Investments (India) has launched the
Hindi version of its website, making it the only mutual
fund to have a Hindi site.
Ravi
Mehrotra, president, India, said, "Technology and
the internet have redefined the world of investing globally.
Given the cultural and linguistic diversity of India,
we believe that a single English website would not be
enough to cater to informational needs of Indian investors.
The launch of this site is part of our efforts to cater
to the vast majority of Indian investors who are comfortable
with vernacular languages and we are looking to launch
other language versions in the future.
The
highlights of the Hindi website are :
- Comprehensive
information about the all the funds and on Templeton
firm including monthly fact sheets, quarterly newsletters,
weekly market views, etc
- Latest
developments at Franklin Templeton including product
changes / launches, dividend announcements, event updates
and addendum, etc
-
Easy to read and simple articles about the capital markets,
financial planning, mutual funds and also access a range
of calculators
and tools.
- A
section providing articles on most common queries investors
have to ask about various issues.
