HDFC MF announces dividends

Mumbai: HDFC Mutual Fund has declared dividends under the Dividend Plan of HDFC Income Fund, HDFC Gilt Fund, HDFC High Interest Fund and HDFC Sovereign Gilt Fund Savings Plan, Investments Plan and Provident Plan. The record date for the same was 25 September 2003.

Under the dividend options of HDFC Income Fund, HDFC Income Fund Premium Plan and HDFC Income Fund Premium Plus Plan, a dividend of Re 0.25 per unit has been declared. For HDFC Gilt Fund, dividends of Re 0.30 per unit and Re 0.15 per unit have been declared under the dividend options of its long-term and short-term plan, respectively.

Under the respective dividend options of HDFC Sovereign Gilt Fund Savings Plan, HDFC Sovereign Gilt Fund Investments Plan and HDFC Sovereign Gilt Fund Provident Plan, dividends of Re 0.125, Re 0.20 and Re 0.30 per unit have been declared, respectively. For HDFC High Interest Fund, dividends of Re 0.25 per unit and Re 0.50 per unit have been declared under the dividend options of its quarterly plan and half-yearly plan, respectively.

All dividends are declared on the face value of Rs 10 per unit. After payment of the dividend, the per-unit net asset value (NAV) will fall to the extent of the payout and distribution taxes. Past performance may or may not be sustained in the future.

The cum-dividend NAVs for HDFC Income Fund, HDFC Income Fund Premium Plan and HDFC Income Fund Premium Plus Plan were Rs 11.0844 per unit, Rs 11.1103 and Rs 11.1276, respectively as on 25 September 2003.

The cum-dividend NAVs for the long-term plan and the short-term plan of HDFC Gilt Fund were Rs 10.8761 per unit and Rs 10.2838 per unit respectively, as on 25 September 2003.
