Mumbai: Mysore-based e-learning solutions
provider Excelsoft Technologies has signed a five-year
agreement with the Europe based Wolters Kluwer Education
(WKe), a division of Wolters Kluwer (2005 revenues: €3.4
billion / Rs19,992 crore), the biggest information services
and publishing company in Europe, for use of Excelsoft's
e-learning 'application framework' across all WKe publishing
houses.
The
agreement also covers development of custom e-learning
applications on the framework, for each of the publishing
houses. Excelsoft's learning solutions are compliant with
global SCORM, IEEE, IMS, QTI and AICC standards.
WKe
is the leading provider of primary, secondary, and vocational
educational material, content and services in seven European
countries (the Netherlands, Sweden, the United Kingdom,
Germany, Belgium, Austria, and Hungary).
Announcing
the agreement, D Sudhanva, CEO, Excelsoft, said, "The
use of Excelsoft's framework will help WKe create a common
platform for learning, while delivering a competitive
edge in the European marketplace, for delivering digital
learning content".
