Torry Harris to invest $10 million in India and increase headcountnews

Chennai: Torry Harris Business Solutions, an IT services company focussing on middleware technologies, has decided to up its investment in India by putting another $10 million into its Indian Development Centre this coming year.

This investment would be used to further fuel the service oriented architecture (SOA) capacity, to cater to increasing customer demands and growth plans. The investment would be internally generated and is an extension to the $1.2 million already dedicated to the SOA drive.

The company has a research and development (R&D) cell for SOA that constitutes a major part of its workforce in Bangalore.

According to chief operating officer. Ashwin Krishna, the Bangalore centre is already the company's biggest worldwide and plans are there to increase the headcount by at least 500 in the coming year.
