Cambridge Solutions expands US BPO presence news
30 October 2006
Cambridge Solutions Ltd is broadening its network with the addition of major new clients adding over Rs500 million ($11 million) in annualised revenue, and the expansion of staff and service capabilities in several new branches.

It has opened a new branch office in Columbus, Ohio, which will make Cambridge Solutions the second largest provider of workers' compensation claims management services in the state. Says Wesley O'Brien, president, Cambridge Solutions' US BPO operations, "Our multi-line service offerings and our new Ohio presence means that any of our clients with exposure in Ohio can have a single source claims management provider."

A key factor in the expanded presence was the decision by one of Cambridge Solutions' Ohio-based consumer products clients to entrust its dedicated and customised workers' compensation claims management services. In addition to this national account, Cambridge Solutions' will also serve other US Companies that have locations in Ohio.

Baltimore, Maryland, another key market for Cambridge, has also been on the map of the company's new branch network. The primary client currently served by the new Baltimore office is a leading US humanitarian organisation. According to O'Brien, "Cambridge is an ideal match for this client because our scope and flexibility meets the unique needs the organization faces in emergency and crisis response." He added, "That's also a capability that applies across a broad array of other clients and circumstances."

Cambridge has opened another branch at Concord, California. According to O'Brien, "The opening of this office and the addition of high-profile client AC Transit signals that we're quickly gaining important ground in the public entity market in California."
