Mumbai: Web search leader Google is entering the financial information services arena with the promise to deliver financial news, stock quotes, an business charts and data. through keyword searches. It has begun offering a trial version of Google Finance, to make information on public and private companies and mutual funds available to consumers. The site takes information from a variety of financial publishers and data providers. Google says it has plans to introduce advertising on the site, though not immediately.
