FSS to build new facility near Chennai news

Chennai: The city-based Financial Software & Systems (P) Ltd. (FSS), an electronic payment system solutions and services player will build 1-lakh sq.ft facility - The FSS Techno Park - on a 10-acre plot in Siruseri, near Chennai. The Rs15-crore facility will house 1,000 professionals in the first phase. The total investment over 24 to 30 months period would be around Rs55 crore to build 3-lakh sq.ft. facility.

The facility is being developed as an end-to-end campus for FSS software development and payment processing services for domestic and international clients and will include substantial space for a data centre that will house the state of the art systems for transaction processing, switching, and managed services.

Currently the company has facilities at the Tidel IT Park in Chennai and in Mumbai with a combined capacity to house 750 personnel. The first phase of expansion at Siruseri Techno Park will house 1,000 personnel, and will be spread over 100,000 sq ft and will be gradually increased to cover a total outlay of 300,000 sq feet in subsequent phases. The total investment over 24 to 30 months period for the facilities is estimated to be around Rs55 Crore.

According to Nagaraj Mylandla, managing director, the FSS Techno Park a strategic independent campus would house the company's new business initiatives. The new campus will be designed keeping in mind deployment of large teams of IT professionals and will work towards equipping them with the necessary expertise, invest in new technologies and IT infrastructure and a 24/7 payment hub.
