Hyderabad:
Enterprise application management solutions provider,
Solix Technologies, has completed the integration of its
ARCHIVEjinni solution with EMC Centera content addressed
storage (CAS).
Customers
of this new integration can comply with data retention
requirements and benefit from improved application performance
and lower overhead costs, by archiving fixed content.
"The
integration between Solix ARCHIVEjinni and EMC Centera
will bring added value to joint customers. As the world's
first CAS solution, the EMC Centera platform addresses
the unique requirements of fixed content while ARCHIVEjinni
complements our ILM offering and file system archiving
solutions portfolio," said Roy Sanford, vice president
of Content Addressed Storage at EMC.
The
integration will enable companies to set policies that
move infrequently used historic records and other fixed
content through a tiered storage architecture, allowing
information life cycle management benefits.
"ARCHIVEjinni
delivers cost effective and simplified management
of large-scale, fixed content repositories, enabled by
EMC Centera," said Burt Salop, vice president of
worldwide sales and alliances, Solix Technologies.
