Intoto inks iGateway deployment deal with Netgear news

Hyderabad: Intoto, a leading provider of integrated security, wireless and voice software platforms to networking equipment manufacturers, has announced that its iGateway EX SecureSME software platform has been deployed by Netgear. Netgear is a global provider of technologically advanced, branded networking products. With Intoto's advanced iGateway EX SecureSME software, these Netgear ProSafe routers deliver comprehensive enterprise-class network security solutions to support main offices, remote sites and branch offices up to 250 users.

Intoto's iGateway EX SecureSME software platform supports high-performance security and routing features that support business-class applications such as server hosting, video-conferencing, and sophisticated routing schemes. Its ICSA Labs certified firewall module provides stateful packet inspection, content filtering, protection from internal attacks, Web traffic redirection and Web-based configuration.

The new Netgear VPN firewall ProSafeT VPN Firewall 200 (FVX538) and the ProSafeT VPN Firewall 50 (FVS338) routers that use iGateway EX SecureSME software platform are feature-rich network security solutions that combine VPN, stateful packet inspection (SPI) firewall connectivity, quality of service (QoS), and SNMP for centralized management. The ProSafe VPN Firewall 200 (FX538) can support up to 200 simultaneous VPN end-point tunnels and the ProSafe VPN Firewall 50 can support up to 50 VPN end-point tunnels. Both solutions also include 3DES and AES IPsec encryption, providing robust network protection for small-to-medium enterprises with remote sites.

Intoto plans to provide software upgrades to include optional anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-spyware policy enforcement, SSL VPN functionality and a robust intrusion prevention system, IntruProT, for the ProSafe security product line.
