Mumbai: Expecting an increase in business and outsourcing contracts, Cincom Systems India Pvt Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of software major Cincom Systems Inc, will recruit an additional 500 software developers and business process outsourcing (BPO) personnel in the country.

The company has also set up a subsidiary in US for outsourcing and Application Service Provider (ASP) services, which it believes would help it in garnering outsourcing contracts from the US to India, according to Ashish Paul, president, Cincom Systems India.

"We are increasing our head count in India and intend to recruit software developers and programmers with a broad range of skill sets, including Java, .Net and Oracle DBA among other," he said.

The recruits would be stationed at the company's India Development Facility near Gurgaon, Haryana. At present, Cincom has over 125 software developers and around five BPO staff in the country and the ramp up would help the company in establishing a major presence in the country.

The Indian arm has also established a wholly-owned subsidiary in the US for outsourcing and ASP services, which would canvass outsourcing contracts from that country to India.
