McAfee receives Frost & Sullivan award news

Mumbai: McAfee Inc has announced that it has won the 2004 Frost & Sullivan Technology Leadership Award for intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems (IDS / IPS). The award recognises companies that have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership within their industry.

According to Frost & Sullivan, McAfee has demonstrated technology leadership by excelling in all stages of the technology life cycle – incubation, adaptation, take-up and maturity – to ensure a continuous flow of improvements. Additionally, McAfee has pioneered client applications by innovating on cutting edge concepts. McAfee offers both host and network intrusion prevention solutions with McAfee Entercept and McAfee IntruShield, respectively.
