Mumbai: IT solutions provider CrimsonLogic Pvt Ltd has announced that it has achieved Level 5 on the rigorous Capability Maturity Model (CMM) based appraisal for Internal Process Improvement (CBA-IPI) assessment.

According to Mathivanan, CrimsonLogic CEO "Delivering business value is the ultimate goal of application outsourcing and yet for many customers, it often involves a certain leap of faith. The CMM is a highly respected industry benchmark for measuring the quality of any outsourced engagement or service provider. This Level 5 recognition underscores our ability to deliver projects to customers consistently on time, within budget and to desired quality."

A Level 5 distinction is the highest maturity level awarded to organisations who show continued and measurable software process improvement in three key areas - defect prevention, technology change management and process change management. These organisations must also demonstrate commitment to piloting innovative ideas and technologies.
