Mumbai: EMC Corporation, the world leader in information storage and management, yesterday unveiled two new EMC Proven Solutions for SAP software environments. The solutions combine professional services and leading EMC technology to help customers quickly upgrade to the newest versions of SAP software and improve productivity, with minimal risk and time involved.

The EMC Replication Accelerator for SAP Upgrades streamlines the replication of critical business information during upgrades from older versions of the popular SAP R/3 software to newer versions to help customers take advantage of new SAP features while minimising risks, resources and downtime during the upgrade. The EMC Replication Accelerator for SAP Productivity helps customers take full advantage of their SAP environment by automatically creating copies of the critical information SAP generates for daily analysis, reporting, testing and other important tasks.

Using their extensive information architecture and product expertise, service professionals from EMC's Technology Solutions group will work closely with customers and systems integrators to design and implement these EMC Proven Solutions. Both the EMC Replication Accelerator for SAP Upgrades and the EMC Replication Accelerator for SAP Productivity are designed for EMC's leading Symmetrix networked storage systems and both utilise a range of EMC software, including EMC Replication Manager, TimeFinder and PowerPath, to ensure the protection and availability of information and the underlying infrastructure.
