PulverInnovations and Rapport Inc have announced a strategic partnership to develop VoIP solutions based on Rapport's revolutionary dynamic chip architecture and PulverInnovation's VoIP expertise.

PulverInnovations is headed by Jeff Pulver, the founder of Pulver.com and a globally respected pioneer in internet telephony. Rapport is the premier source of application-specific reconfigurable embedded chips, offering advanced dynamic architecture in working silicon.

Traditionally, devices for IP-enabled communication services such as VoIP need multiple ASICs to perform the required multimedia, security, and communication functions. Rapport's solution eliminates the need for multiple chips by building multiple functions into a single reconfigurable chip, leading to lower costs and less complex products with advanced telephony functionality.
