Suzlon investing €150 million for capacity expansion in Belgium

Mumbai: Wind power company Suzlon Ltd is investing €150 million (Rs860.73 crore) for capacity expansion at its Belgian wind gearbox facility from 3200 MW to 5800 MW.
Suzlon, which currently draws 60 per cent of its revenue from domestic market, aims to increase its global market share in the next fiscal.
"Suzlon aims at growing at double the global industry growth rate of 25 per cent in terms of its revenue," Tulsi Tanti, CMD, Suzlon, said on the sidelines of the HT Leadership Summit.
"The company is planning to raise the amount through internal accruals and local bank finance and the expansion would be complete by December 2007," he said.
Suzlon is looking at expanding its operations in China and is planning to induct three partners in three Chinese provinces, where it will undertake development supply, project construction and services of the entire wind power generation system.
