Charlie Hebdo has bounced back in defiance of the terror attack that killed 10 of its senior staff, including the editor.

On its latest cover, the French satirical weekly has put a cartoon of a weeping Prophet Mohammad in what it called the 'survivors' issue'.

Due out Wednesday, the cover features Prophet Mohammad in a white turban holding a sign that reads, "Je suis Charlie" (I am Charlie) under the words, 'All is forgiven'.

The issue will be the first since two Islamist gunmen stormed Charlie Hebdo's Paris office on 7 January and massacred 12 people, saying they were taking revenge for previous publications of Mohammad cartoons.

In a further show of defiance, the magazine announced it would print three million copies, far more than its usual 60,000, when it reappears on newsstands this week.
