HDFC Bank commenced operations in January 1995. It has been promoted by HDFC, India's premier housing finance company. The bank has three key business segments: wholesale banking services, retail banking services and treasury. HDFC Bank has a network of over 684 branches spread over 316 cities across India. All branches are linked on an online real-time basis. It also has a network of about over 1605 networked ATMs across these cities.
