Wipro Lighting launches energy-saving lighting products

Mumbai: Wipro Lighting, part of the consumer products business of Wipro Ltd, showcased its energy-saving lighting products at the ‘Energium 2003’ in Mumbai. The Energium 2003 is an exhibition of energy-saving products.

The Wipro Lighting energy management system (EMS) products showcased included:

  1. Smart — electronic ballast that can help one saves up to 35 per cent on the lighting energy bill
  2. Sigma — digital ballast which not just saves up to 35 per cent but increases lamp life by up to three times. It can also light up lamps with broken filament
  3. Lightspot presence detection system with daylight sensing
  4. Managed lighting system for corporate offices
  5. Scene-select system for conference rooms, board rooms, auditoria
  6. Wipro savior range of energy-saving luminaires for the manufacturing sector

Today’s lighting solutions are estimated to consume up to 50 per cent of the office energy cost. By using Wipro Lighting’s latest EMS products one could save up to 70 per cent of the lighting costs. Wipro EMS offers solutions ranging from the very basic to the high-end and these cut cost yet increase user comfort and convenience.

Wipro also showcased its brightness management products at Energium 2003. It is a proven fact that good lighting can increase work force productivity.
