Tata Engineering’s new CVs in the market

Mumbai: Tata Engineering has unveiled a new range of medium and heavy commercial vehicles (CVs) to provide a value-added package to consumers.

The EX series of vehicles has a variety of features and will be available in the 16, 25, 30 and 35-tonne capacity. Simultaneously, the company also launched India’s first Turbo Intercooler LCV range with the LPT 709 EX Turbo truck.

Tata Engineering executive director (commercial vehicles business unit) Ravi Kant says: “Our revitalisation plan for the medium and heavy commercial vehicles is based on executing the fundamentals of our business to build great products. Quality and value have been the hallmark of our trucks and with the EX series, we have packed added value for consumers, based on the feedback of their changing requirements.”

With the introduction of the LPT 709 EX Turbo truck, Tata Engineering establishes itself as the first Indian automotive company in the segment to extend a Turbo Intercooler technology to the LCV vehicles, bringing them at par with the global leaders.

The company has put in a 160-litre fuel tank for longer fill-in intervals and a runner-mounted load body to ensure extra load-carrying capacity with uniform distribution of load. The LPT 709 EX Turbo truck has been specially designed for easy service and maintenance.
